According to statistics released by Taiwan's Customs, the country's imports of seamless steel pipes totaled 9,984 tons in July, lower than 10,952 tons in June.
In July, China was the largest seamless steel pipe exporter to Taiwan with 7,472 tons and Japan was the second largest one with 1,342 tons.
Industry sources said that the dip in seamless steel pipe imports was caused by slack demand.
